EnviroDevelopment Professional

Marnie Dalton - Monday, October 06, 2014

In September 2014, DCE was admitted as an EnviroDevelopment Professional.

EnviroDevelopment was created by the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) to increase the uptake of sustainability in all aspects of development including residential, retail, commercial and industrial as well as mixed-use developments.

EnviroDevelopment's mission is to mainstream the adoption of sustainable development practice, fostering the commitment of individuals, communities, industry and government to inspire higher levels of achievement than would be achieved through regulation, whilst maintaining opportunities for flexibility and innovation. EnviroDevelopment Professional Members are recognised as key operators in the field of sustainable development.

EnviroDevelopment serves to make it easier for purchasers to recognise, and thereby select, more environmentally sustainable developments and lifestyles.

DCE is passionate about sustainable project solutions and the EnviroDevelopment certification formalises this attribute and how it can be applied within the Development sector.
